How TickerTalk Prepares Research
TickerTalk publishes educational research on public companies, ETFs, market events, and economic themes. The goal is to make the question, the evidence, and the uncertainty visible to a reader.
1. Start with evidence
For time-sensitive reports, the workflow begins with public filings, issuer materials, official releases, market data, and reputable news coverage when available. Reader-facing source links are shown below general market reports so a reader can open the underlying material.
2. Separate facts from interpretation
Reported figures, model assumptions, and editorial interpretation are different things. A financial ratio or a valuation model can help frame a question, but it does not predict a future share price or guarantee an outcome.
3. Explain the trade-off
Each report aims to explain what changed, why it may matter, what could challenge the view, and which next data point could confirm or weaken it. Technical terms are explained in plain language where practical.
4. Use automation with limits
Automation helps collect public information, organize drafts, generate charts, translate content, and keep formatting consistent. It does not replace independent judgment. Source material can be incomplete, delayed, revised, or interpreted differently by reasonable readers.
